The Primary School,聽delivers a broad educational experience incorporating a solid foundation in literacy and numeracy. 聽As students move through primary levels they develop skills in conceptual learning, emergent thinking and mastery acquisition. They acquire an understanding of what determines logical and scientific questions and what counts as evidence in dealing with such questions. They develop an intricate knowledge of the history and culture they are inheriting and which they, in turn, will shape. They are exposed to Languages, Music and Performance, Visual Arts, Information Technology and Health and Physical Development, Health and Physical Education and Sport.
By the time students reach聽Secondary School,聽they have developed the skills to learn and cooperate effectively within teams; a feature of contemporary work and society. Throughout this transition students cultivate an understanding of the way to think and problem solve as well as how to treat other members of the community with respect and care. 聽In Secondary School students gain a sense of their own place and value. They are more self-directed and begin to specialise in their areas of interest looking forward to tertiary entry via the Higher School Certificate, entry to work or apprenticeships as well as other diverse pathways to the future. Our secondary curriculum offers a broad range of core and elective subjects to support student鈥檚 diverse interests and abilities.
